Mobile recording of microperfusion
Our project aims to design and implement a compact, minimised and energy-efficient measurement system, in the form of system and textile integration, for the diagnosis of impaired microcirculation (blood flow in organs and tissues) and early detection of signs of decompensation in cases of intravascular fluid imbalance, while complying with medical safety standards and applicable data protection requirements.
Decoupled measurement of microcirculation is important for better understanding the relationship between macro- and microcirculation and thus deriving appropriate treatment measures for patients. Last Mile Semiconductor provides a necessary component for technical implementation with its sensor component in combination with the corresponding IP for the realisation of the ‘System on Chip’ (SoC) based on the new non-cellular 5G radio standard DECT NR+ and the open processor standard RISC-V.
